Good results in 2013 means changes in BIC Electric

In 2013 - as in 2012 - BIC Electric managed to present the best annual results ever with a profit of more than DKK 4 million.
With projects in 10 countries as well as offshore and more than 100 people employed, we have been busy doing on-site services. The good results has also meant changes and expansion of the organisation, much of which have already been implemented now in 2014.

You can learn much more in this newsletter.

100 % focus on on-site projects

With continued growth in BIC Electric and projects across several countries a strong focus on quality and work environment has been necessary. We are now certified according to the international standards within quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001) as well as work environment (OHSAS 18001). Furthermore, the certifications now cover the entire company group which was also expanded in 2014 with yet another affiliated company; BIC Electric Danmark ApS.

Since these expansions demand our full attention we have decided in future to focus 100 % on on-site installation and service of electrical, mechanical and automation systems throughout Europe and we already employ more than 100 people within this area. It is the objective of BIC Electric to become the preferred service provider within this area of business onshore and offshore.

This means that we have decided to sell off our assembly workshop in Poland. From 1 July the switchboard assembly will be acquired by our current Production Manager, Tomasz Działowski, who will continue the production under the new name BQ Sp. z o.o.
BIC Electric wishes Tomasz good luck in his future endevours.

Certification according to the OHSAS 18001 standard

During 2013 BIC Electric has worked on developing and implementing the international standard for working environment, OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Advisory Services). At the end of the year, our work was audited and we received the certification. This makes us more ready than ever to take on assignments - especially in the offshore sector where an OHSAS-certificate is often a requirement.
