2016 - another good year!

At BIC we are almost through another successful year: 2016.
For the 6th year in a row we have increased:

geographical reach,
our employee count
and competences.

In addition to the core locations in Scandinavia and Europe, in 2016 we have been working in America, Africa, Greenland and Asia.

This year, we have also passed milestones of:

100 technicians working at projects,
150 employees
1 M Euro EBT.

Everywhere we worked, we added value to our partners' businesses by offering an additional level of flexibility to their operations in each of our 4 service areas.

Also in 2017 we aim to be world champions when it comes to our core competences:

wherever and whenever needed.

We want to make a difference! And we can!

Just like in the previous years, also in 2016 we take Christmas as an opportunity to make the world a bit better.

We have chosen three charities that will receive donations from BIC Electric of more than DKK 100.000 in total.

We know that with our support they will provide effective relief to those in need in Africa and Asia. And our local little friends' lives will also get a bit nicer.

Here are short descriptions of the organizations:

Doctors without Borders (MSF) - a private, international, humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical care to millions of people caught in crises in more than 65 countries around the world. MSF provides assistance when catastrophic events—such as armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, or natural disasters—overwhelm local health systems. Their aim is first and foremost to provide high-quality medical care to the people who need it the most.
Polish Humanitarian Action (Polska Akcja Humanitarna, PAH) - a charity organization established in 1992. Its mission is to make the world a better place through alleviation of suffering and promotion of humanitarian values. PAH supports development and education of societies and provides humanitarian relief in the countries afflicted with military conflicts, persecutions, natural calamities or poverty. PAH also works to improve access to potable water and fights starvation and malnutrition.
The aim of PAH's activities is to help societies build their way out of the crisis, to strengthen social groups and to improve access to education for children and teenagers. In Poland, PAH assists refugees and repatriates and runs educational and informational campaigns raising Polish people’s awareness of the world problems.
Homeless animals rescue shelter in Dobra - a facility established by passionate animal lovers who help the stray animals find a new home: they provide hotel-like conditions with activity areas for the animals and promote the adopt-a-pet attitudes among our local community.
