12 new jobs at BIC Electric
and more coming
There have not been many such days in BIC's history like Friday 16th in June 2017.
On that day, we hired no fewer than 12 new people into our company. One of them will reinforce our HR&Payroll department and we will feature her later.
Eleven were technicians from a single Polish company.
Piotr, its owner and director, along with a dozen of his employees had been providing electrical services to the marine industry for the last 3 years. Their customers were mostly Polish customers, but they got deployed in shipyards all around the world.
As a small supplier to large companies, they had been struggling to secure favorable contract conditions and to obtain financing of their current activities in the long intervals between payments, and this forced them to look for another way of operating on the market.

Safe haven and a stepping stone

At BIC they found not only an organization with a well-established market position and a serious negotiator, but also an employer who secures continuity of operation for all employees and offers them an attractive salary package.

Additionally, we are now in the phase of rapid expansion and we welcomed the reinforcement of the highly qualified and experienced marine electricians. Considering their commitment to reliability, their shipyard experience will be a valuable addition to the skillset of the BIC Electric technical staff.

A warm welcome to new customers
and new challenges
These new BIC technicians, along with the 150+ we already had (now we are nearly 170 technicians!) will soon start (or already have started) working at verious projects for our brand new customers: Equinox MHE, City Elektrikeren, System Teknik, ABB, LindLarsen, Installations Partner, Tromsbygg Enterprenør.
On the one hand, these new customers have engaged us to perform the familiar task of electrical and mechanical assembly, installation and commissiong of sorting lines at a logistics hub and a hanging conveyor line at a furniture factory. We have done this many times before, but as an extension of this, our technicians are now also planning and managing production of conveyor subsystems and coordinating subcontractors' work.

On the other hand, the new customers also give us new challenges: CCTV installations, solar power and parking ventillation systems, hydraulic installations for wind turbine blade production, crane operation and more. This is always a welcome opportunity to expand our experience and bring in added value to new areas and industries.

Our increased employee base
can serve your case too, anywhere in the world.

We are always ready to take on new challenges in:
  • Building installations
  • Industry & Automation
  • Oil & Gas
  • Wind Power
