BIC Electric news, June 2018

These last few weeks have been very busy at BIC.
The Royal Prize for our CEO, audit results, internal and external projects and our involvement in our city.
We are happy to share the updates with you!

Royal prize for our CEO

On June 7th Szczecin became little Denmark for one day. Our CEO, Jens-Chr. Møller received a prestigious award: the Diploma of the Danish Export Association and Danish Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour for his support of Danish exports and promotion of CSR values abroad. It was the first time this award was granted in Poland and to a Polish company. CEO, Jens-Christian would like to personally thank all the speakers and visitors for their kind words, gifts and presence on that important day.

BIC is CSR-compliant

A recent audit of our company by DNV-GL has established that we act in compliance with the DS-49001:2011 standard of Social Responsibility. We see it as an important proof that we create a workplace where people can continuously develop. We do our best to create a better, safer and cleaner world.

Our big internal project

Apart from our involvement in the electrical and mechanical projects carried out together with our business partners, we are working hard to stay ahead of the competition by streamlining and automating our internal processes and creating a platform for sharing knowledge. This is largely Allan's field. If you want to know what Allan does at BIC and what he likes about BIC - read more here.

High Voltage at BIC

A part of our escape into the future is extending our portfolio of services and always looking for new market opportunities. The newest addition is the High Voltage area in which we will provide the same model of scalable external support for HV installation projects. Read more.

4*4*4 - BIC Kahuna, BIC Bang, BIC Foot & BIC Guns

At the start of June, 4 teams from BIC Electric ran in a 4*4km relay race. For the last 4 years we have taken part in the NCDC Business Race, every year more runners than the last. It was a fantastic opportunity to build team spirit and get in shape.
See what else we do after hours here.

Supporting young talents in our region: Wood & Brass Band

Both at the Royal Prize ceremony and during the NCDC relay race, we could watch and listen to the fantastic Wood & Brass Band performance - a group of ~50 talented young musicians. Thanks to the support from BIC, they can finance their trip to a marching bands competition in China. Keeping fingers crossed here!

Our upcoming activities

We are getting ready for the summer, which, at BIC, means a series of visits to our customers' HQs around Europe. We have seen it many times before that, thanks to the feedback, our services are only getting better. If you are interested in a visit, let us know.
