BIC Electric news, June 2019

Synergy is the future

Throughout our history, we have discovered and are re-confirmed that partnerships and long-term cooperation are the catalysts for growth - for our customers, partners and for ourselves.

Read more below about the strengths in some of our relationships.

Technical partnership for Africa

Technical Partnership fokus on Africa

We are proud to announce that we have entered a partnership with the Danish company Tech-Solutions in order to offer comprehensive turnkey solutions on the African market. Together we can provide a complete package including:
  • material procurement,
  • delivery management,
  • project management,
  • assembly and installation,
  • commissioning.
We are excited to get started. Our first joint sales trip to Nigeria and Ghana is coming up next week. Please inform Ulrik or Adam, if you are interested in collaboration with us or even if you would like to meet them

Strong local presence & Scandinavian Days

Ever since BIC started in Szczecin in Western Pomerania, we have been well received, both by the local authorities and the business community, who understand the importance of cross-border development of the region. Szczecin and Western Pomerania gravitate toward Scandinavia, and we are happy to observe that BIC Electric is seen as an essential player in this region – this was evident during this year's Scandinavian Days in Szczecin. Looking forward to next year’s event!

Spectacular Camp Adventure Tower- Congratulations JVP STEEL!

We are very proud of the latest achievement of our BIC Steel collaboration partner in welding projects. JVP recently completed construction and installation of the magnificent, 45-metre tall Camp Adventure Tower, located in Zealand, Denmark. It was opened to the public on 31st March and has instantly become a must-see attraction.

The BIC Steel partnership itself aims to deliver such extensive welding projects wherever the customer requires them. We are more than 250 certified welders (MIG/MAG and TIG) & fitters and combined we have 500 qualified technical professionals, all ready to be a part of projects within the energy sector, public building, infrastructure, the maritime sector, wind power, oil & gas – both onshore and offshore – basically wherever extreme precision and the highest welding skills are required.

Professionalism in Water Industry

Satisfaction of our customers is a confirmation that we are an appreciated project partner. BIC’s highly skilled technicians and Team Leader’s professionalism have been noticed by our customer Envotherm.

This is what they say:

BIC has provided Envotherm with assistance during mechanical and electrical installation of wastewater treatment system for jet engine maintenance – in a flagship project for us, in Rzeszow. BIC turned out to be a great partner for the task. We appreciate the professional service and the ability to meet high H&S Standards as well as good team spirit combined with efficiency. We would like to emphasize the role of BIC’s Team Leader who has supported us with his outstanding managerial skills and versatile competences to lead this challenging project.”

BIC Electric GmbH

BIC has opened a new branch office in Germany, as we have recently experienced an increase in the number of customers from Germany seeking our service. In order to be locally present and give our customers a sense of stability and security, the natural next step was to establish BIC Electric GmbH. BIC has experience in working globally, and beside our companies and representations in Poland, Denmark, Norway, United Kingdom and Ghana, this is our sixth international branch office.

Happy birthday to Maj!

At some point, most of you have probably seen or met - given her focus on building and nurturing our relationships; her natural role is to be the face of the company as Sales Manager. On 16th May she reached a milestone when she closed the chapter of her third decade.

Maj's birthday did not go unnoticed in Denmark, as her story was featured in the Danish written press by Børsen, Berlingske and Midtjyllands Avis – read the article here. Also her story was told by Energy Innovation Cluster in the April edition of their newsletter.

Life is grand in BIC family

We have just organized our first ever BIC Family Picnic for all the families of our employees. With 1st June being the International Children's Day, the day was geared towards the children. Here are some photos from the occasion.

NCDC race once again

For the 5th year in a row, BIC Electric was standing at the starting line for the 4*4km relay race in Szczecin. This year we had two teams of runners whom all had a blast getting ready for the race and on the day itself.
