BIC Electric news, August 2019

The World is our Playground

With the holiday trips soon becoming memories for many, BIC continues the travelling – far and wide, also down the memory lane – looking back at our history.

Over the last 15 years we have worked globally and we have reached almost all corners of the world, except for Antarctica. Read more about what’s hot at BIC recently!

15 Years of Growth through Scalability

In July 2019, 15 years have passed since the establishment of BIC Electric – in 2004, we decided to start operations independently. From a small company, first based in Herning, Denmark, now based in Szczecin, Poland, we have grown into a global player executing global projects.

China & Nortec-Cannon

BIC is happily supporting another customer in yet another exotic location – helping them sell more! Of course, when the customer is happy, we are happy.

“Nortec-Cannon is a supplier of production equipment to the plastic industry, present on the market for 40 years. Our recent challenge was unique: a project in China where we had to supply and install a PU dosing system. It was routine in terms of technical difficulty, but we needed extra manpower to fulfil the installation in time.

We heard about BIC Electric and learned about their legal competence through another Danish company. With BIC we were not only able to deliver and install our machinery, execute the project with full legal compliance but also to do it in a smarter way - making the best use of BIC’s mobility and efficiency in terms of working across borders. With BIC, we could concentrate on what we do the best – technological innovation.

After that first project together, we will be coming back for more, as soon as we have another exotic location to handle.”

West African Market - an Interview with Adam Piotrowski

Adam Piotrowski - Ghana Office

One of the advantages of working in a global company is the pleasure of travelling around the world. In June our Regional Sales Manager Adam Piotrowski and Ulrik Plenge Jacobsen from Tech-Solutions got their feet on the ground in Ghana and Nigeria.

Upon returning from the business trip, Adam sat down for a little chat with us on his view on the two very diverse markets from a business perspective. This led to an interesting discussion.
