BIC Electric was among 21 companies (out of 160) selected by the jury of this year's 17th edition of the Economic Award of the President of Poland, and among 3 companies in the CSR category "Responsible Business".
All nominees were distinguished on the 7th of October at a ceremonial gala. The President Andrzej Duda emphasized that selecting leaders and final winners was not easy. “All these companies are wonderful, you are great people and great businessmen, with an unusual sense of responsibility” - he noted.
The jury of this year's edition consisted of outstanding representatives of business and economic universities. Some of them acted as advisors to the President of Poland.

BIC Electric & Resolux at WindEurope - Offshore 2019 exhibition!
WindEurope – Offshore 2019 is the biggest event of its kind. Each event gathers thousands of leading players in the wind energy sector from all over the globe. Among exhibitors, there is Ørsted, Deme, Siemens Gamesa, MHI Vestas, Bladt Industries and much more.
This year BIC will be there as well. Together with our partner Resolux, we will present our turnkey solutions incl. technical services and material supply for the wind power projects. Visit us in “Pavilion of Denmark”, C3-C25!

New trainees from Mim join BIC
|
|
|
|
At the beginning of October, 4 new trainees; Alex, Listowel, Florence and Michael from the Ghana Greentech Academy in Mim arrived at BIC for intensive training. Back in June our Regional Sales Manager Adam Piotrowski visited Ghana to interview and find the right candidates.
“From an interpersonal perspective, they are more than competent to work in an international environment; they are eager to learn, and to expand their knowledge. In the long term, we hope that, as local technicians providing high-quality installation service, they will be part of setting up and developing our African branch in Ghana.” (Adam Piotrowski)
Since the first trainees joined BIC in March, we have gained experience in how to find the right candidates and successfully onboard them.

Like every summer, also in 2019, we all met for a big get-together. Employees and their partners came from all over the country (and from abroad). This year, we went back to Mierzęcin Hotel and Spa - a place that has already proven to be a good venue for our summer party - for a thrilling Friday afternoon, night and a relaxing Saturday morning. The pictures will say it best how much fun it was.
