Automotive Industry – it is where BIC shines

"We have been now working with BIC Electric for a few years and we are satisfied to see that they consistently meet our requirements. We have also observed that they can cope with increasing complexity of assignments and we can rely on them not only with assembly and installation, but also with their on-site team management."

- Steven Wauman, Division Manager, ATS

We are very proud that we can apply our electrical and mechanical competencies in the automotive industry all over the world. In 2019, we have worked together with our customers on over 20 projects of varying sizes. A recent one started in an empty hall and ended with a fully installed automated conveyor line in the car body painting hall in which we assembled and installed workstations and robot arms, making them ready for programming and commissioning by the main contractor.

Our technicians performed a broad spectrum of assignments, from mechanical assembly of conveying and lifting equipment, through wiring, installation of switchboards, frequency inverters, motors, sensors, operation panels, Profinet cabling and more. This is a particularly effective combination of electrical and mechanical services in which we feel especially confident of providing top value to our customers who deliver solutions for such giants as Volvo, Porsche, VW or BMW.

Interview with Jonathan Aihoon

Meet Jonathan Aihoon – Regional Sales & Key Account, Africa

"The possibilities BIC Electric provides by giving young Africans practical training in electrical and mechanical installation are awesome… I hope that everybody will work hard because opportunities like these rarely happen in Africa."

Jonathan Aihoon joined BIC Electric in April as part of our educational program for talented technicians from Ghana and Nigeria.

In October he joined our Key Account and Sales & Marketing departments. This transition is aimed at developing our African team and getting closer to African market and the sale’s culture there.

We were interested to hear more about his impressions so far. You can read about his journey and his ups and downs in the full interview here.

Wind Power

Offshore wind - our future, our energy

Together with Resolux, BIC participated in this year's Wind Europe Offshore Exhibition. HRH Crown Prince of Denmark opened the exhibition which this year with the motto “our future, our energy” was aiming at Europe becoming CO2 neutral by 2050. It is the industry´s biggest event. With 300 exhibitors, 8500 participants coming from 80 different countries, it was a well-attended event providing us with ample opportunity to present our turnkey electrical solutions for the Offshore Wind Power Industry.

Thank you for visiting our stand. We are now looking back on this inspiring and successful event, updated on the latest developments and new contacts.

Health and Safety – competition

We strive to make BIC an incident-free and an environmentally friendly workplace, and we raise our employees’ awareness in a variety of ways. We have recently concluded an HSEQ competition in reporting near-misses, and we will surely continue the work. Here is the winner of this year’s competition – Kamil Jędras.

Happy to contribute😊

BIC Electric is not only the employees, but also the entire community of families, children and business relations in the area. We also believe that growing a sustainable and healthy business is all about doing the right things, so at BIC it is part of our DNA to engage and share the good with others, especially at Christmas time.

This year, as part of our “African Vision” we have donated EUR 25.000 to the Ghana Greentech Academy in Mim in support of their educational program for young technicians. We hope that our support will contribute to a better future for young people in Africa. We have also supported local sport and cultural activities in both Poland and Denmark with a total donation of EUR 3.500.

Wrapping up 2019, as you already have read, it has been a busy year. We are happy that we have achieved so much - both in business and for people.
